We just wrapped up two sessions of duct tape wallets. I don't know why, but it went much smoother than the last time I did this program 3 years ago. Probably because I limited to a smaller number of participants, and had good helpers. (Thank you Drew and Elizabeth!)
Everyone went home with something cool. If you missed it, here are some of the final products.
And as promised, here's the link to a website with directions so you can do it yourself at home.

Insanely fun! I'm going to invest in some duct tape in color... maybe bright green, neon pink, black, white... red...
I LOVE DUCT TAPE!!!

This is more of a note than a comment, but I couldn't find your email address. On September 20, 2007, your post featured Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist as a picture. I read it the other day, and despite the small amount of mature content and swearing, I really loved it. Did you read it? If so, I'm anxious to hear your opininon. If not, I recommend it! You should read it and post a review here. Also, on July 26, 2007, there was a knitting club post. My friends and I did not attend, but I think that a knitting club would be brilliant! I love to knit, and would enjoy a Fredricksen Library Knitting Club. Maybe it could partially benefit a charity, and we could all do a KAL (knit along) with hats?

I have not read Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist yet, but have heard lots of good things about it. I'll have to add that to my ever-growing list of things I need to read. As for the knitting, we could probably do that as a combined teen and adult activity. I'll give that some more thought after the summer reading insanity passes. Thanks for the ideas!
